You probably already know that Aqora offers a CLI tool to easily interact with the platform - whether it’s joining competitions, testing your solutions, or diving into new challenges.
But here’s the deal: most of you are using VS Code to code your quantum solutions. So, we thought, why not bring Aqora directly to where you work best?
Enter the Aqora VS Code Extension. In this first version, we’ve mirrored the functionality of our CLI - so you can log in, clone templates, test, and submit your solutions - all without leaving VS Code. Pretty slick, right? And this is just the beginning. We’ve got more exciting features coming soon to level up your workflow even further.

Right now, the extension brings you all the basics from the CLI:
- Login to your Aqora account directly from VS Code.
- Clone a template to kickstart your project.
- Test your submission on the spot.
- Submit your solution straight from the editor.
While this first version keeps it simple by mirroring the CLI, we're all about making your life easier - so expect cool new features to drop in future updates.
