Extending the deadline

Hello,
Would you consider extending the deadline by a couple of weeks? Unfortunately, I was only able to start this challenge recently, but with some additional time, I might be able to come up with something worthwhile. From the leaderboard, it seems that the competition may not have been very active, so a deadline extension could benefit both participants and organizers.

I wholeheartedly second this recommendation to extend the deadline. It appears that many are unaware of this competition. I also was unable to start until recently, and this extension would allow for a substantial learning experience and to overcome unforeseen challenges that may arise.

Hello Oleksii, We're currently discussing the possibility of an extension with the organizers. We also think it could be beneficial for both participants and organizers. We'll keep you updated as soon as we have a final decision.

Just wanted to check if you'll be able to make a submission in time, given we extended to end of February, which is coming soon!
Best, Jannes

Hello @stubbi, thanks for reaching out. I am not sure, but I'll try my best. I've tried a lot of different approaches this month, and only yesterday evening did I get a decent score on the validation set for one of the five horizons. Now I'll try to train all models and make a submission as soon as possible, but it isn't easy in such limited time. It is on me, of course, that I wasn't efficient enough with my time. In conclusion, I think I'm gonna make it in time somehow, but I am not 100% sure.
