There was one question on the reddit for this:
I'm currently doing research about Quantum Telecommunication as a sophomore. How should I do it to get a PhD scholarship in the West. Which part do you think need to be dived deep into.

It depends on a range of factors. Generally, obtaining an undergraduate degree with strong grades from a reputable institution and completing a minor project in the field can make you eligible to apply for scholarships in several countries across the EU or the United States.
